Bio of Scott Teigen
I began working for Parelli in early July 2011, having moved to Pagosa Springs from Wisconsin a little over a month earlier. I’m currently something of a jack-of-all-trades, as I balance writing Savvy Times articles, scripts, staff profiles, and anything else Parelli needs written. Before May 2010, my knowledge of horses was roughly equal to my knowledge of the economy of Finland. Pretty minimal. Luckily, I’ve been observing and learning from Maree Stewart, and when she was offered a position at Parelli, I decided to make an educated decision and move to Pagosa Springs with her. Soon, my background in writing and proofreading came in handy, as I was offered the opportunity to join the Parelli team as well. I’m enjoying becoming immersed in Parelli culture, and I look forward to learning more about natural horsemanship. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, volleyball, playing bass guitar, and relaxing with Maree and our two cats, Annie and Jade. |

Thank you for including me in the Savvy Times. I am doing fine. I had a bout with blood clots in me left leg. I am doing fine now and look forward to working with Scooter this spring. I will be in Pagosa Springs in May to visit Petra Christenson at her Ranch for one week. She is just down the road a piece from Pat and Lindas.
I must have miss led you as to where I am living. I am in Pueblo Colorado.
