Anna de Winter

My name is Anna de Winter, born and raised in the Netherlands. Since I was seven years old, I was attracted to horses. I don’t really see why as I fell off a lot of times the first year I had riding lessons, but my one hour riding lesson a week was what made mmy week important.

At 18, I decided to dedicate my life to horse and horsemanship. I started with four years of horse management education and ended up in France in 2006. Here I’ve worked, lived, learned and played with horses ever since, at the property of 3-Star Parelli Professional Marie Claire de Selliers.

The consistency here gave me confidence, and the horses taught me tons of life lessons. Last year, I made it to the states for a MasterClass and an externship to expand my horizons and learn more about people and myself. Sometimes the lessons were tough, but always worth the effort.

In January 2010, I cam back home as a 2-Star Junior Instructor and have taught this year in France, Belgium, and the Netherlands. The whole experience taught me more about myself than I thought there was to know, and I hope to share some of my experiences with you.
