Bio of Genevieve Benoit

My name is Genevieve Benoit, I am a Licensed Parelli 3-Star Instructor and Equine Canada Certified Classical Coach residing in Quebec. I have been riding horses most of my life, starting with the traditional jumping lessons at the age of 12, competing at 13, exchanging work at the barn for lessons by cleaning tack, stalls and grooming horses. At 16, I worked at the 1976 Montreal Olympic Games as a groom for the Pentathlon team.

I found Parelli quite by accident in 1999. I attended my first clinic hoping to ‘fix’ my show jumping horse who would no longer get on the trailer. I discovered a whole new aspect to horsemanship that I never knew existed, and it ended up changing my life.

After many, many intense years spent studying at home and a total of 85 weeks at the Parelli Centers, I have achieved one of my dreams: to become a 3-Star Licensed Parelli Professional. I travel all over Canada and parts of the USA helping raise the level of horsemanship worldwide and loving it!
