Bio of Jessica Charlton

Hello everyone! My name is Jessica Charlton. I’m a wife, mother and high school teacher living in Jacksonville, Florida, USA.

I started riding when I was nine years old and found Parelli in 2005 when I acquired an Appaloosa who would lay down if he wasn’t interested in my idea.

After a four year pause in my horsemanship journey, I adopted a four year old Mustang in the summer of 2010, my greatest teacher.

I am fortunate to have Pat’s seventh key to success, Support, in spades with a great local group of Parelli friends and Parelli Connect. My long term goals include becoming a Horse Development Specialist and learning the Art of Colt Starting, a goal largely inspired by Roxie, my Mustang.
