Bio of Ruth Carlyle

My name is Ruth Carlyle and I am a 2-Star Parelli Professional based in Shropshire, UK. I was horse-mad as a child. I started learning to ride when I was four and all I ever wanted was my own pony. Thanks to my parents, who knew absolutely nothing about horses, I got my first pony when I was 12. It was more by luck than judgement that I ended up with the most perfect little pony called Browys.

We went everywhere together, often bareback in only a halter. It was only when I got older that I realized not all horses were as perfect as him. I have always had horses since, but I could never recreate the total trust that my pony and I had.

It was in 2002 that I happened to see a Parelli demonstration and there it was…the connection. How did they do it? I joined the Parelli Member’s Club immediately and never looked back.
